An interesting and little-known proposal of family entertainment is pétanque. This sport is allegedly the second-most popular in the world, however, it is so far little known in Poland. The largest number of players may be met in France and Italy. The game itself is simple, and the most important in it is...good company. In Dinolandia, it will be possible to make a trial of oneˊs strength on 3 pétanque tracks. Equipment, rules of the game and booklets for recording results will be available on the premises.

What is pétanque?

Pétanque (boulles, ball-game) is a traditional French party game with elements of dexterity, played on a grass-free square (called bouledrome), e.g. on hardened sand, of a sufficent size (which, for a tournament game, is at least 15×4 m). Pétanque consists in throwing steel balls from a selected place (boules; French boule – a ball). Pétanque has straightforward rules. Every persons and at every age can play it.
